Gaetano and Francesca’s story is one of unwavering dedication to work and family, an example
of how passion and determination can turn a small dream into a concrete reality.
When they founded Sicilscope in Villabate, on the outskirts of Palermo, Gaetano and Francesca
were faced with a tough challenge: to start a broom factory in a competitive market, while
maintaining their strong family values.
With sacrifice and tireless commitment, day after day, they managed to create something
important, starting with a production of 800 brooms per day, later expanding their catalogue
with handles and mops.1997
Every broom that leaves their factory nowadays brings with it not only great quality craftsmanship
but also the dedication of two people who have been putting body and soul into their enterprise.
Sicilscope is not just a company, but rather the fruit of Gaetano and Francesca’s love for a well
done job and their own desire to guarantee a better future to their loved ones.
Thanks to the experience gained over the years, Euroscope has evolved into a modern and
dynamic reality, active throughout the country and beyond. The move to the new 2,000-square-
metre plant in Palermo makes it possible to expand production, including the production of
MOPs and upgrading the brooms facilities. This leads to a significant increase in the production
capacity, with 12,000 pieces of brooms and 4,000 pieces of mops produced every day.2003
The direct entry of Salvatore and Paolo Montalto marks a decisive turning point in the company’s
history. Holding key roles in the Sales Management, Raw Material Purchasing, Logistics and
Administration, the two brothers make a decisive contribution to the company’s growth and
innovation. Our products are increasingly appreciated not only in Italy, where we collaborate
with prestigious brands, but also internationally.
For years we have been successfully exporting to strategic markets such as North Africa and the
United States, consolidating our global presence in more and more countries.

We become the exclusive distributor in Sicily of cardboard and plastic sanitary waste containers,
solutions for waste sorting, and big bags for bulky waste and asbestos.2018
The company moves to a new production facility of over 4,000 square metres, with an additional
6,000 square metres of outdoor space, designed to optimise the production and logistics
operations. This makes it possible to respond even more effectively to the different customers
needs.2020-2024
We have recorded a turnover expansion of more than 60 per cent. To support this growth,
we have invested in advanced technology purchasing two new machineries for our broom
production and one machinery for the production of mops which have enabled us to significantly
increase our company’s production capacity. We have also installed a photovoltaic system
to reduce the environmental impact and optimise our energy consumption. To improve
the organisation of the warehouse, we have also implemented a new shelving system, thus
optimising our storage space.
